2020 Election Campaign Links, Key Dates, Important Information

WHAT TO DO THIS WEEK – THE WEEK BEGINNING 10/26

  1. Check that your Absentee Ballot has been recorded. Here is the link: https://info.scvotes.sc.gov/eng/voterinquiry/VoterInformationRequest.aspx?PageMode=AbsenteeInfo, then click on “Statewide General Election 2020” and then click submit. And do check – some are being returned to the Elections office for address corrections.
  2. Important! Reminder to voters who requested an Absentee Ballot: return it to the Board of Elections by the end of the day before election day (Nov 2nd).  If on Election Day (Nov.3rd) you are still marked as having an un-returned Absentee Ballot you will not be allowed to vote at your local precinct.  You will first have to go to the County Elections Office (1930 University Parkway – 1st floor) to surrender your ballot and get a slip authorizing you to vote back at your local precinct.
